We are looking for an Experienced Scrum Master who embodies strong Servant Leadership values and enjoys building high-performing teams. Leading a team through all four development stages (forming-storming-norming-performing) is something that excites you!

You will be part of a self-organized and cross-functional team and together you will develop and deliver Software to customers like Volkswagen, Jaguar Land Rover and Volvo Cars. Your daily work will include supporting the team's development, removing impediments for the team’s progress and working on building an open, honest and collaborative culture within the team.

You will be actively contributing to Continuous Improvement (CI) meetings, Scrum of Scrums and Scrum Master Community of Practice, to promote knowledge sharing across teams.

Here’s what you’ll focus on: 

• Play a crucial role in forming WirelessCars DevOps team in India.

• Coach the team towards self-organization, cross-functional collaboration and strong ownership to secure a delivery with high quality.

• Strengthen team motivation, well-being and high performance, both in remote and hybrid setups.

• Lead agile and SAFe practices, and promote a strong DevOps mindset to enhance flow, structure, and delivery quality.

• Optimize planning by visualizing team capacity, proactively removing blockers, and shielding the team when necessary.

• Contribute actively to the Continuous Improvement (CI) meetings, Scrum of Scrums and Scrum Master Community of Practice, to promote knowledge sharing across teams.

• Drive all agile ceremonies for the team and have a close collaboration with the team’s Line Manager and PO.

About the team and context 

You will work with a newly formed cross-functional DevOps team of Developers and a Senior Product Owner, delivering high-quality solutions with full end-to-end responsibility. Collaboration with the customer’s development team is close, and planning is often done jointly to ensure alignment. The environment is dynamic and part of a large-scale delivery, requiring clear priorities, high level of trust and strong communication.

Going in to a team which is within the storming faze is not something you that makes you nervous but rather excites you! How can you coach and lead the team to transform in to the fourth team development stage and become high-performing?

We think that You’ve been previously working within the Software Development domain and have the ability to discuss technical topics with developers, architects, and other stakeholders. It’s not expected of you to be able to read code, but it’s welcome if you can. You would also have Understanding of CI/CD and Software Testing practices.

Problem-Solving is something that you enjoy. Blockers and dependencies are constantly occurring within the development of cutting-edge software, thus you will play a crucial role in identifying and removing these for your team.

Your background and skills

• Proven track-record of building high-performing teams.

• Great Leadership & Facilitation skills.

• Academic degree within Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant experience.

• Scrum Master certification or similar education. 

• 5+ years of professional experience within Software Development domain and minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.

• Experience of DevOps, Agile and SAFe methodologies.

• Experience working with Jira and Confluence. 

• Fluent English, in both speech and writing.

Additional experience

• Automotive domain knowledge. 

• Experienced in navigating and collaborating within international environments.  

• Proven ability to thrive in flat organizational structures with minimal hierarchy.  

• Background in working for global companies with diverse teams and cultures.

The work location for this role is in our office in central Bangalore, India. At WirelessCar we believe in a hybrid work setup, with possibilities to work both from home and from the office.
