We are looking for a Scrum Master & Product Owner who combines strong product ownership with servant leadership and Agile coaching. You will be responsible for defining product direction, prioritizing customer value, and maintaining a clear and actionable backlog, while creating the conditions for the team to deliver sustainably with strong ownership and quality.
You will work closely with customers, developers, architects, the Line Manager, Engineering Manager, and other stakeholders to connect business needs with technical capabilities. You will facilitate effective planning and collaboration, manage dependencies and impediments, and coach the team in Agile, SAFe, Lean, and DevOps ways of working.
In this role, you will balance product decision-making with neutral facilitation. You will make priorities and trade-offs transparent, support the team in making effective decisions, and enable continuous improvement without directing technical solutions.
Here’s what you’ll focus on:
Define and communicate the product vision, goals, scope, and priorities so the team understands the intended customer value.
Build, refine, and prioritize an up-to-date product backlog that reflects customer needs, technical constraints, dependencies, architecture, quality, security, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, shape the roadmap, clarify expectations, and provide regular progress updates.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, planning sessions, and team discussions while ensuring effective collaboration and transparency.
Visualize team capacity, manage dependencies, identify risks, and remove impediments that affect team flow and delivery.
Coach the team toward self-organization, cross-functional collaboration, psychological safety, and end-to-end ownership of the software it develops and operates.
Support the team in adopting and continuously improving Agile, SAFe, Lean, and DevOps ways of working.
Use meaningful delivery, product, and operational metrics to evaluate progress, product outcomes, operational health, and value achieved against agreed goals.
Facilitate Continuous Improvement activities and contribute to Scrum of Scrums, Product Owner collaboration, and the Scrum Master Community of Practice.
Work closely with the Engineering Manager, Line Manager, and delivery leadership to identify competence and capacity needs while keeping responsibilities and accountabilities clear.
Support transparent decision-making by making priorities, risks, dependencies, constraints, and trade-offs visible to relevant stakeholders.
Encourage continuous improvement in product delivery, team collaboration, quality, and ways of working.
Additional Required Competencies
5–12 years of professional experience in Product Owner, Scrum Master, Agile Delivery, or comparable roles.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with both Product Owner and Scrum Master/team coaching responsibilities.
Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Lean, and SAFe principles and their practical application.
Experience gathering, structuring, refining, and managing requirements and product backlogs.
Practical experience working with Jira or a comparable product and delivery management tool.
Experience collaborating directly with customers and multiple internal stakeholders.
Strong understanding of product prioritization, roadmap planning, dependencies, and trade-offs.
Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, planning sessions, retrospectives, and continuous improvement activities.
Experience coaching cross-functional teams toward self-organization, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Understanding of CI/CD, software testing, software development practices, and service operations.
Understanding of end-to-end software ownership, including development, deployment, and operational responsibilities.
Ability to discuss technical trade-offs, architecture considerations, dependencies, and solution alternatives without needing to be an active software developer.
Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
Experience working with distributed or international teams.
Fluent English, spoken and written.
We offer you
A collaborative environment where trust, autonomy, and team ownership are encouraged.
An opportunity to combine Product Owner and Scrum Master responsibilities in a cross-functional DevOps environment.
The opportunity to work closely with customers and technical teams and influence both product direction and delivery effectiveness.
An international and multicultural workplace with distributed teams and stakeholders.
A flat organizational culture with minimal hierarchy and a high degree of team autonomy.
Opportunities to contribute to Agile transformation, continuous improvement, and modern software delivery practices.
The opportunity to work with experienced developers, architects, Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and delivery leaders across a larger organization.
Beneficial Competence
Experience working in international companies with distributed and culturally diverse teams.
Experience working in flat organizational structures with minimal hierarchy and high team autonomy.
Experience participating in Agile transformation or broader process-improvement initiatives.
Experience supporting remote and hybrid teams.
Experience with SAFe roles, ceremonies, planning, and cross-team coordination.
Experience working with DevOps teams responsible for both development and operations.
Experience using delivery, product, and operational metrics to support decision-making.
Familiarity with software architecture, cloud technologies, microservices, APIs, and modern development practices.
Experience managing dependencies across multiple teams and organizational units.
Experience working with Scrum of Scrums and Product Owner communities.
Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Product Owner, or related certifications.
We believe that you bring
You are an experienced servant leader who combines strong product thinking with a genuine interest in helping teams succeed. With 5–12 years of experience, you have developed the maturity to make product decisions, manage competing priorities, facilitate complex discussions, and coach teams toward greater ownership and autonomy.
You are comfortable making product decisions and setting priorities while remaining neutral when facilitating team discussions and technical solution decisions.
You connect day-to-day backlog decisions with the broader product vision and roadmap. You understand customer needs, consider technical and operational constraints, and make clear and transparent trade-offs based on value, quality, risk, and delivery capability.
You build trust through active listening, clear communication, and consistent follow-through. You are comfortable working across organizational and cultural boundaries and can align customers, stakeholders, and technical teams around common goals.
You create an environment where people can take ownership, collaborate effectively, challenge ideas constructively, and continuously improve. You avoid command-and-control behaviour and instead coach the team toward self-organization, accountability, and end-to-end ownership.
You are comfortable handling conflicting priorities, surfacing risks early, facilitating difficult conversations, and keeping discussions constructive. You remain calm and adaptable when circumstances change and demonstrate empathy, emotional intelligence, and awareness of team well-being.
You use data and evidence to understand delivery progress, product outcomes, and operational health. You are curious about technology and can engage confidently with developers and architects to understand technical trade-offs without needing to prescribe technical solutions.
