We are looking for a technical problem-solver and a customer advocate, working to ensure that customers derive maximum value from our products and services.
You should have great knowledge of the local language and culture. You have technical experience from architecture area preferably from vehicle and IT industry with customer interaction and deliveries of projects to customers.
You will liaise with current and potentially future customer for the purpose of inquiries on topics and delivery from Connected Services unit.

Strategic Responsibilities
- Act as the voice of Japanese customers in product and strategy discussions, surfacing trends and unmet needs.
- Collaborate with customers to co-create new solutions, aligning WirelessCar’s portfolio with emerging market demands.
- Identify and support business development and upsell opportunities.
Proactive Customer Engagement
- Support in defining and drive Customer Success Plans with measurable KPIs and clear ownership.
- Participate in regular QBRs to align on goals, review progress, and adjust plans accordingly.
- Introduce product innovations and facilitate co-creation workshops.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a cultural and technical liaison between local customers and global teams.
- Coordinate internally across Sales, Delivery, Engineering, and Product to ensure seamless execution.
Commercial Orientation
- Support deal shaping, proposal reviews, and pricing discussions by grounding them in customer value.
- Monitor delivery performance and contribute to ROI measurement and renewal readiness.
Team Contribution
- Customer Market Manager reports to a Solution Area Manager
- Supports the Delivery Manager to plan the delivery to the market (scope, priorities, deadlines, external dependencies, and risks)
- Serves as “Voice of the Customer” for the delivery team at WirelessCar, communicates the status of the market
- Helps the teams and Delivery Manager resolve issues and dependencies related to the customer in the market
- Communicates market specific milestones, requirements, and regulations to the Delivery Manager and the delivery teams
- Organizes the local teams so that global WirelessCar delivery is well represented in the market regardless of the time or cultural barriers
- Supports Customer Success in exploration of new customer needs and opportunities for business extension in the market
You will be responsible not only for supporting customer delivery and success but also for uncovering latent needs, identifying growth opportunities, and feeding these insights into our regional and global strategies. Your role bridges customer ambition and WirelessCar innovation to co-create sustainable value.
Required Skills:
- Languages: Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency
- Technical Skills: 5+ years of experience in software/system architecture, or a similar technical role within the automotive or IT industry. A strong understanding of connected services or SaaS products, including their architecture and functionality.
- Industrial Experience: Knowledge of telematics, CAN (Controller Area Network), or In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Business Acumen: Understanding the customer's business needs and how the product can help them achieve their goals.
- Commercial Acumen: Understand the economics of connected services. Identify upsell opportunities, efficiency gains, and help shape pricing/renewal discussions when relevant.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Communication: The ability to clearly explain complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
